ABOUT MEG

Meg Lyding, MFA, is a certified sound and music practitioner, a Tai Chi Gung instructor, and multi-disciplinary artist whose work explores the art of well-being through the beauty and therapeutics of sound, creative expression, meditation, movement, and other self-care practices.

As a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, Meg composes and produces her own work as well as offers live events, workshops, and personalized sound sessions. Whether in the studio or live, the experience is designed to uplift the listener to a higher state of harmony, supporting meditation and healing rest by utilizing intentional sound, the therapeutic and expressive qualities of music, and its capacity to transform states of being.

As a visual artist, Meg holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from The New School's Parsons School of Design. Her work has been exhibited in New York City at the Aronson Gallery, United Photo Industries, and Photoville Festival, and internationally at the Pingyao International Photography Festival in Pingyao, China, the Head-On Photography Festival in Sydney, Australia, and the Indian Photography Festival in Hyderabad, India and was included in a photography and poetry book through artist Clare O’Neill.

Meg also has experience in numerous other creative, self-care, and wellness practices. Her personal and professional studies also include the therapeutic use of art, dance, creative writing, and being in nature, as well as nutrition and herbalism, energywork and bodywork, and yoga for adults and children.
